How do I get the best burn from my candle?

Burn your candle until the wax has melted evenly across the surface during the first burn. This helps prevent tunnelling and promotes an even burn throughout the life of your candle.

Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each burn.

How long should I burn my candle?

We recommend burning your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the wax to cool completely before relighting.

When should I stop burning my candle?

Discontinue use when approximately 10–12mm of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.

What wax do you use?

All Madame Lucy candles are hand-poured using natural soy wax.

What fragrance oils do you use?

We carefully select high-quality fragrance oils that are phthalate-free and suitable for use in home fragrance products.

How strong are your candles?

Our candles are designed to create a noticeable yet balanced fragrance that gently fills a room without becoming overpowering. We believe the best candles are the ones people enjoy living with, not just smelling.
